High End 3d.Com___Great site for 3d information. A little biased toward the "big boys" but it does have lots of stuff to download for free, so I forgave them.

The Hobbit Guy___This guy is good... REAL GOOD. Check out his tutorial and modeling skills.

NewTek___I usually don't post sites for software, but this site has some great tutorials on it that apply to any package. So I made an exception.

Renderosity___General 3d and Art site. Very well traveled. A little to heavy on the Poser side sometimes but there are some very talented people here.
